Chief Operating Officer (COO) Scott Mintz has dedicated his entire career of 30+ years to the post-acute healthcare industry. He started off as a business office manager for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Boston, MA, where he improved billing and collection processes. After discovering that technology was the key to efficiency, he pursued an opportunity to work for a regional EHR software company as their financial implementer. He then transitioned into system architecture and coding, working with the development team to design new applications and software as their director of financial design. He furthered his software application experience as an equity partner of a startup software consulting company focused on the post-acute market. 

After several years Scott shifted his energy to the operations side of the business, serving as director of clinical and financial systems, vice president of enterprise AR/clinical systems, and vice president of information systems for national healthcare management companies. In his most recent role as senior enterprise consultant at PointClickCare Technologies, he specialized in mid to large enterprise clients, facilitating their complex implementations and integrations. 

Scott’s experience in post-acute care has concentrated on both the operations and technology aspects of the industry, but his goal has always remained the same - to improve efficiency and the customer experience while creating the greatest impact to the residents being served. He believes that everything within a facility eventually trickles down to the resident, so he works tirelessly to improve every aspect of the business. Overseeing day-to-day operations of both internal and external departments, he is passionate about being a servant leader, always willing to offer advice and trusted to step in when roadblocks arise.

As a native of Long Island, NY, the ocean has always been a big part of his life. Family vacations at the beach with his three boys and wife are always something they look forward to, especially now that they reside in the suburbs of Atlanta (nowhere near a beach). Scott enjoys staying active with regular CrossFit workouts and golf, and is an avid scuba diver.
